Why did we launch Holiday Taxis?

Holiday Taxis was set up in 2002 in order to meet the burgeoning demand for customers to be able to quickly and effectively pre-book transfers from overseas airports to their hotels, timeshares or private accommodation.

Holiday Taxis work with the best and most experienced overseas handling companies and suppliers since it is vital to have a contact in each destination to manage our transfer company partners and to ensure that all bookings have been received and arranged long before the plane ever arrives. Our management team have all worked in senior positions within many of the UK's leading travel companies for the last 15 years.

Sophisticated Technology.

Holiday Taxis has had to build its reservation, email and billing systems from scratch since no purpose built systems have previously been available. For example once a travel agent or customer makes a booking on the site an email is automatically sent to our in resort handling agent and the booking added to the confirmation file. Once the agent has confirmed the booking via email or within the admin section of the site then, the booking is transferred to the booked section. However, if for any reason the booking is not confirmed it is flagged to one of our UK administration team who will follow this up immediately. Simply put, there is no way your booking can get lost!

Other areas of automation have been put in place from confirmation emails, to sophisticated commission and invoicing structures for Travel Agents. Holiday Taxis incredibly low prices are completely dependent upon this sophisticated back office set up and give us complete confidence that we will never be beaten on service or price.

Who are We?

Chief Executive Officer

Concept inventor Paul Stanyer is highly experienced in the logistics of organising large volumes of customers on their package holidays having held senior management positions with some of the large UK tour operators including Inspirations and Thomas Cook. For 12 years he lived and worked in the Mediterranean in almost all of the destinations featured gaining valuable knowledge of how each country operates and also developing relations with the suppliers we now use for Holiday Taxis.

As a regular traveller himself Paul is constantly looking at new ways to enhance and improve the service provided to Holiday Taxis valued customers

 

Chairman - Brendan Breslin

Joined the Ministry of Defence, London in 1968 as an Executive Officer and was posted in 1968 to Singapore and returned to London in 1971. Seconded to The Foreign & Commonwealth Office in 1975 and served in Brussels where, as well as being the UK Representative to the Infrastructure Committee, he was Chairman of the Nato Infrastructure Review Board. Subsequently served in London and Portsmouth. In 1985 posted to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as Counsellor and was also accredited to Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei and Indonesia. He served there until 1993 when he resigned and went into business in Indonesia.

From 1993-98 lived in Jakarta, Indonesia as a partner in PT Multiperdana Intiguna which was the holding company for businesses involving Tuna Fishing, Sport Shoe manufacturing, Coconut Production, Golf Development and an Executive Advisory service. The Company was also the representative for British Aerospace plc as well as other UK companies.

In 1998 moved to Ireland to further PT Multiperdana's business interests in Europe and the USA. In 2001, with his partners, formed an internet based company, E-Travelbase Ltd. of which he was Chairman until late 2002 when the company was sold.

In 2002 formed Eireann Aer and Premier Air with a view to commencing an executive air charter service based in the South West of Ireland.

In 2002 he and his partners provided the financial investment for Airport to Hotel Ltd. [Holiday Taxis.com]

In 2003 his company, Universal Golf Consulting Ltd. purchased the lease of The Ring of Kerry Golf & Country Club with the intention of establishing it as a major international golf venue.

 

FD Peter Hilton

With over 10 years experience as a qualified accountant Peter Hilton brings much more than just finance skills to the Company.

Qualified as an accountant in 1996 Peter immediately joined Virgin Holidays as Overseas Financial controller, Peter increased his responsibility at Virgin to include Commercial controller of Virgin Sun before leaving in 2000 to join GE Capital in a senior financial role.

Having co-founded the technology Company Click with Technology (CWT) in 2001 Peter joined CWT full time 2002, becoming Managing Director in 2003.

Involved with Holiday Taxis almost from the beginning Peter combines his role as FD of Holiday Taxis with his role at CWT, which works well as CWT is the technology supplier for the Company.
